Appointments
How to make an appointment?
You can make an appointment via the following ways:
- By visiting Appointments. Your request will be assessed and assigned to the best person to help you with your concern.
- By calling the practice on 01639 643 786.
The practice runs a full appointments system. If you call the surgery, a receptionist will ask you for a brief description of why you need to see a doctor that day and book you an appointment with the most suitable clinician.
We aim to see you within 10 minutes of your appointment time.
Same Day / Emergency Consultations
We offer same day consultations for children under 16 with acute presentations.
If you have a medical problem that cannot wait until the next available appointment, we will see the same day as an emergency. These are shorter appointments (one acute problem only) and are for dealing with urgent problems only.
Repeat prescriptions and medical certificates are not supplied during emergency appointments. Please telephone to arrange an emergency appointment, please be aware you may have a wait to see the on call doctor as they are dealing with all medical emergencies.
Consultations available to patients
Patients who have not been seen within the last 3 years, or those over 75 years old who have not been seen within the last 12 months, can request a health check.
