Antenatal Clinic

Run by the district midwife. Dealing with all aspects of antenatal care, including screening, advice on diet and supplements, ultrasound scanning and booking for delivery.

This service is no longer running at the surgery but now is held at Port Talbot Resource Centre.

Asthma Clinic

Run by a practice nurse, for monitoring asthma medication and lung function testing.

If you have been advised by the surgery to submit an annual review of your asthma symptoms, please complete an Asthma Review Form.

Baby Clinic

Run every Tuesday, 14:00-15:30. Run by community health visitors, doctors and the practice nurses.

Please do not bring ill children to this clinic, they need an appointment as usual.

Diabetic Clinic

This is run every Wednesday AM and PM.

Run by the practice nurse, to monitor blood sugar control, medication, check on feet and eyes, and advise on diet.

Hypertension Clinic (Blood Pressure)

For monitoring blood pressure for patients known to have hypertension. Run by the practice nurse or HCSW.

If you have been advised by the surgery to submit an annual review of your blood pressure symptoms, please complete a Blood Pressure Review Form.

Influenza Vaccinations

This is run every autumn, we offer flu vaccination to our patients. It is strongly recommended for patients who suffer with heart or chest disease, diabetes, chronic illnesses, patients over 65, young children and carers.

Please book an appointment with one of our HCSW from September onwards

Medical Examinations

We can provide medicals required for HGV, PSV, insurance, employment or other purposes.

Smear Clinic

For cervical smears, please telephone and book an appointment with our practice nurses.
